2011 Kia Forte is offered in four-door hatchback, four-door sedan, and two-door coupe body styles.

The sedan is offered in LX, EX, and SX; the coupe and hatchback come in SX and EX trim levels only.

Seating

The front seats of coupe and sedan are comfortable, including leather upholstery and seat warmers. However, the back seat isn’t much impressive as it adults can’t position them comfortably (three people can be squeezed in the back). It can accommodate two people at the full-size back seat.

2011 Kia Forte Sedan

It comes in three trims namely, LX, EX and SX. All the trims of the sedan get a 2.0 liter inline 4 cylinder engine which produces a horsepower of 156 hp @ 6200 rpm and generates a torque of 144 ft-lbs. @ 4300 rpm. The models zooms from 0 – 60 mph in 8.2 seconds which is quite impressive for a mid – size sedan.

2011 Kia Forte Koup

The koup gets EX and SX as the two trim levels. It has an identical engine to the sedan and gives identical powertrain performances. It does a 0 – 60 time in 7.6 seconds which is faster than the sedan and is mostly because of the reduced overall weight of the model.

2011 Kia Forte Hatchback

The new Kia hatchback also gets EX and SX as trim levels. Even the hatchback has the same engine under the hood, as the sedan and koup and it gives the identical performance as well. The hatchback accelerates from 0 – 60 mph in 9 seconds. The figure says that it is the heaviest in the lot.

Overall we see that the 2011 Kia Forte 0-60 timings might not be the best in their segments, however, they certainly are above average and noticeable.
